Going Green !!!!

Can we put a pause to the development around?
The non-stop, evergoing eagerness of humans to evolve, to develope, to invent;
The innovations around, the technology;
Can we put a pause to them for a while??
The once upon a time creepers in my garden, have been replaced by the broadband wires.
The unseen waves created by the devotional music,
and the aroma of sandal and camphor have been replaced by the wifi, mobile waves.
(Alas! The only difference being these waves increase my blood pressure a bit and decrease my life span by large.)
They keep me so engaged that I am connected to my new God - ' The G**gle Bhagwan'
and have lost my connection with the older version.
The metro tracks, bridges, the infrastructure have made my country develope;
have made the commuters travel fast;
but have only transformed the Gre'en' Revolution to the Gre'y' ( The Gen 'Y')
Can we stop this rat race for a while?
Can the present day industrialist pause his factory production for a while?
Can he stop walking for a while?
(Because only then his footprints would be less - the Carbon footprints !)
Can the relations be relived again?
Can the 'Nuclear Attack' be prevented?
(It means the families going Nuclear)
Do we realize that this 'Nuclear Attack' is even more dangerous for the generations to come!!
Why have the festivals lost their charm??
Why has the sole nature of human existence differed?
Why is it that man has become a beast today, in the prevailing cut throat competitive world?
Nobody cares about anything else when it comes to money!! WHY ????????
I know not.
.........................
Probably, the answer is -
may be the 'Barter' needs to be relived....
A Barter system wherein we shall not trade carbon credits,
But trade our credits, truth, empathy and deeds of kindness.
May be, then this planet would be a better place to live in;
where humans, animals and nature can co-exist in harmony.
Yes,
probably the correct answer is in form of this new question -
We need not go Green !!!!!
CAN WE GO RED ????
Can we go 'redder' at our hearts and deepen this color of love, affection and harmony - towards the whole existence alike ?

  1. Hi Sulabh... Great Post!!!!!
    Nobody knows the answers to these questions..
    But all of us probably feel that may this world become a better place to live in!!!
    Everybody is just running without realising that what is the end to this road..
    Destination Unknown....
    Hope a day comes when we realise that we need to take a pause...

  2. Hey,
    Commendable post...
    I believe as we have gone through several revolutions in the history of mankind, such as green revolution, barter to cash system etc..Its epic time to now expect yet another revolution within a decade.
    This time it won't be a aim to empower technology, or something known as 'Artificial intelligence', indeed this time for sure it will be to empower humanity, love, compassion etc..
    And if this happens it will far outweigh the importance given to rat race, mobile waves etc..and many such things you've talked about...

    Regards...

  3. Hi Proton Sulabh!

    Hats off to genius musings!
    The ultimate question is - Are we developing or making our lives more complex?

    The book 'The World Without Us' has tried to answer the same query. The book concludes that without man, the world is going to be a much better (greener) place. But, that may not be the optimum solution. Sustainable development is the only plausible solution. And Boss, the onus is on your generation. Trust me, we are confident of your success in the same!

  4. Hey Sulabh,

    Swell job brother.
    Thanks a ton for taking all of us back to the old school of forgotten thoughts. But its a tough transition to say "I don't" from "I won't". Try taking a call from within and you will find your internal signals weakening. But to make a call is important not the disposition.
    Keep up the green work brother- may be green fonts next time can bring greener change to eyes if not to world...lolz

  5. Hey Sulabh… Incredible post.. OUTSTANDING.. M impressed !

    Ape --> Human --> Machine…. And this wont stop at machines… there is something beyond… Evolution cant stop.. That’s how we are coded.

    But if we seriously want to see a positive change in future, we got to be that positive change today. ‘Children See, Children Do’

    We at least know of the creepers, aroma of sandal & camphor, Devotional music, HIM, love, empathy, kindness…. I don’t know how many of us will be able to give it as a present to the generations to come though..

    I don’t know the answers to questions raised by you, but I hope, we make this place a better place for ourselves and generations to come.

    Regards

  6. Hi dear,
    Buddy your way of bringing out the irony in our way of life is really intriguing as well as contemporary!

    Evolution would go on but we need to do something to balance it out effectively..... not by swapping carbon credits( As still pollution levels are increasing).

    May be the real answer may be lying in the pace of TECHNOLOGY itself. Invent some system which could convert the mess back to something green..... I don't remember but nature do have these phenomenon in place. We need to replicate that thing on a massive scale.

    About your human angle stuff ---- its an individual cal which needs to be replaced by a society call. Man/Woman is called a social animal lets try to again change the interpretation to be a social human animal........

    Enjoy the moments4life!

  7. Hey Sulabh,

    The question you raised about going RED, just sends shiver down my spine.

    That was a beautiful question to ask.
    Precisely! I believe, one should now go "red" at their hearts and follow the path of "yellow" through love, affection and harmony towards the whole existence and reach the destiny of going "green" by way of virtue!!

  8. Thanks to all for going through and commenting.
    I am sure that through this mode of expression, we can make a big difference to the world around.

    Priyanka:- Thanks ! Rightly said that we need to pause and think for a while.

    Manish:- Beautifully said.. There might come a revolution and we might evolve to empower humanity.

    Respected Varun Sir:- Thanks for showing that confidence in our generation. You reinforced my belief in the fundamentals sustainale developement.

    Yash:- Taking a call from within, that is the sole purpose of this mode o communication. Let us all introspect, go deep within, find answers to this and many more such topics.Thanks!

    Shejal:- A wonderful thought. Thanks !! We have to take this pledge today itslef, that we would transcend this gift to our many generations to come.

    Jagrat:- The natural process you talked can simply be the fossil fuel that is created in the crust by decomposin waste. Surely we can have the replica of such systems, as a signicant achievement for the mankind.

    Hetvee:- Great Composition!! In going from Red, to Yellow and then in due course reaching 'Green'. Probably this only would be the right path!!
